Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Jackson participated in his first Easter egg hunt on Sunday. Our neighborhood hosts one every year. There were tons of little ones and they separated them into age groups so the babies didn't get trampled. Good thinking -- those big kids were ruthless! Jackson was a little timid at first, but he quickly got the hang of it. By the time it was all said & done, Aaron & I were holding overflow and Jackson's basket was still full! Jackson had no idea they were filled with candy, so that was not his motivation for collecting as many as he did. We had to empty all the candy out of the eggs and give them back since they reuse the plastic eggs every year. We secretly kept one since it was his first hunt -- you gotta have something for the book (or in our case, the box), right?
This was the best family picture we could get with the Easter Bunny.
Creepy bunny with no pupils & I swear he was 7 foot tall!

Notice how full his basket was.

Overflowing

He simply would not look at me long enough to get a good posed pic of him with his basket.
