Look Whooo's Two!

WARNING: LOTS of pictures!

Emerson's 2nd birthday party was Saturday, June 25th.  It was an owl themed party - as in "WHOOO's Two?  Emerson, that's WHOOO!"  Aaron worked tirelessly on the yard & the house in the weeks leading up to the party and as usual, my mom, Nana, Ann & Ashley helped TREMENDOUSLY!  Thanks ladies!  We had a great time with wonderful family & friends!

 The invitations...made by yours truly

Every year Ashley gives the kids a Shutterfly book on their birthday.  I look forward to these books so much and I love that we will forever have these keepsakes!  Here is Nana looking at Emme's from this year.

Out back we had 3 "bird baths" and a silly sprinkler (which we never turned on) for the kids to play in.  They had a blast & kept cool in this insane heat!  Thanks Uncle Brennan & Aunt Megan for getting 2 of the pools!

The water table was a hit!
This was Emme's birthday present from Aaron & me.

Yet another cute cake made by our friend, Gabriel

The favor table
This year, the favors consisted of 2 owl finger puppets, a pinwheel and candy from the candy bar.

Emme & Jackson snacked on the candy during much of the party!

Gifts from her sweet family & friends

Ami followed the owl theme with her gift

Emme LOVED the frog card from Uncle Clay!  It ribbits the Happy Birthday song!

Chicken books for The Chicken from Yaya & Pops!

Sadly, we didn't make it to the Pin-the-Beak-On-the-Owl game I made.
The kids & I played on Monday though.

I know Emme had a great time at her party and we had fun too!  Thanks to everyone that helped us celebrate our baby's 2nd birthday!  And thanks to PaPa & Ashley for taking pictures during the party too.  Without them, this post would not be possible!
