How is it that I got NO pictures of me with my munchkins on Mother's Day? Geesh! Oh well. Mother's Day was wonderful. Aaron made waffles for breakfast and then told me to check his email. Odd request, but I did it and there I saw he had ordered me 2 necklaces I had been eyeing on Etsy. So excited! They aren't here yet, but I can't wait for them to arrive! He's also doing the kitchen for me too. Lunch was at my parents' house. My dad was scheduled to have shoulder surgery on Friday, so we had put the other men in charge (Aaron & my brother, Brennan) of lunch. Dad's surgery ended up being postponed, so he & Aaron & Brennan cooked an amazing lunch of stuffed porkloin, twice baked potatoes, asparagus and salad. It was SO yummy and we all decided they were in charge of every holiday from now on! After lunch we took a family walk to the duck pond. Jackson & Emme love being outside and love ducks, so they were happy campers! It was such a wonderful & relaxing day! Thank you everyone. I am so honored to be called Mommy. I love how Jackson says Mommy with every sentence! Are we going to the store, Mommy? Going to drive the cart at the store, Mommy? Mommy, Jackson will drive the cart at the store, Mommy. I don't like this way, Mommy. Go that way, Mommy. I never tire of hearing it! He and Emme are the very best things I have done! They are such a blessing from above! I am so thankful for my Momma! She is my best friend, my mentor, my shopping partner, my therapist, my seamstress, and the BEST Yaya in addition to being an outstanding (holla, Daddy!) Momma! And of course, she learned at the foot of the master! My Nana is the Nana - I don't know how to describe how amazing she is with us, with my kids, her strength and determination. She is ALWAYS there when I need her even when I don't know I need her. I have no idea how she does it. Momma, Nana - I love you and respect you and thank you more than I can ever express!
She was moved to tears & is so excited for her first trip to The Big Apple!
