Spring Show

The kids annual Spring Show was on April 28th and the theme this year was Rock Through the Ages.  Emme's class sang & danced to Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Twist & Shout.  Jackson's class did Hand Jive & Rock Around the Clock and then because this is Jackson's last year before moving to a new school for Pre-K, they also did N'Sync's Bye Bye Bye.  It was SO FREAKIN' CUTE!  SO CUTE!

They make these little signs every year for the kids - we have a whole little collection of them from all the themes over the last 4 years.

This is neither child's class, but they did Michael Jackson songs & I just cracked up at the boys with the one white glove on - Hilarious!
Emme, of course was stoic at first but continued with the motions despite her sour puss!  Check the bell bottoms!  *eek!*

Jackson's class dressed 50's greaser style
And they did a little jitter buggin' - thought I was going to DIE of cuteness!

I'm so incredibly sad that this was Jackson's last Spring Show, but at least Emerson has one more year and I'm sure Jackson's Pre-K will do something adorable too!

Spring Show 2011

I hate the way Emme's teachers did her hair, but oh well.

Jackson was in the back and hard to see most of the time.

It was still a fun thing and I love that their school does this program every year!  I will so miss these when we "age out" of this sweet school!

I can't get the videos to load, but I will keep working on it.  Blogger is becoming increasingly more difficult for me - ugh!

Spring Show

Jackson's Spring Show was on Friday evening. This is what the Zebra Zone parents wait for all year! The kids have been practicing & practicing for about 2 weeks -- keep in mind, they are just one so the level of practice can't be that intense. Anyway, the theme was "Movin' & Groovin'." They wore tie-dyed shirts, sang & danced to 70's music. It was very cute! Jackson's class danced to "Joy to the World." He didn't clap & dance much -- one little dance squat (facing away from the crowd) and a couple of claps, but he wandered around the stage and pointed at things. This was better than the criers, but there were a couple of kids that clapped & danced like they were supposed to. I was very surprised he didn't cry with all those people watching! I plan on posting a video soon, but we caught the program on our video camera this time instead of the digital camera & there's still plenty of room on the DVD, so I didn't want to finalize it just yet. Stay tuned for that...

The kids all had a poster with pictures of them from throughout the year. Papa snapped a pic of Jackson's. In most of the pictures he was eating -- seems about right!

There was a slide show of all the kids in the school. Papa also snapped a pic of Jackson's slide. His hair (pre-hair cut #2) looked hysterical!

Jackson spotting us -- this is pretty much what most of the kids did the whole show.

Showing us something -- not sure what.
